About the instructor: Drea Edwards www.dreaedwards.com
After a 30-year business career, Drea woke up one day and remembered the forgotten path in the woods. And now she’s a writer. Drea writes fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry focused on themes of connectedness, hope, and forgiveness, frequently juxtaposed with the magic of the natural world. She earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature from Boston University and her MA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University, where she is currently pursuing her MFA. Drea and her husband divide time between winters in MA & RI, and summers at their crooked off-grid cabin in the White Mountains of NH, where she sits on rocks and befriends old trees. Her deepest desire is to share words and stories that are valuable to others, contributing to a more connected world.
