In this workshop, the Audubon Society of Rhode Island will bring preserved specimens from our collections to show the diversity and beauty within the natural world. We will learn why certain animals look the way they do, how we can capture their features in our art, as well as why scientific sketching is often more informative than photos.
This class is for children and youth ages 10 and up. No artistic background needed, just an interest in learning about wildlife and in practicing drawing.
