Do you like to keep track of what books you read and your thoughts about them? Stop by the library on Wednesday afternoons in January from 3:30pm to 5:00pm to work on your reading journal. Whether you are just starting your reading journal and need instruction, or you already have one and want to work on it, this is the workshop for you. We will also be sharing ideas for our reading journals as well as book recommendations. Materials will be provided by the library but patrons are welcome to bring their own. Patrons will be welcome to use the library computers to print out images for their reading journal for .20 cents a page for black and white images or .50 cents a page for color.
Reading journals are a place to record your thoughts and feelings about books as well as express your creativity! ‘Spreads’ are used to track a variety of your reading habits including your reading goals and challenges, what genres you read most often, how many pages you read a day, lists of books by theme, and more- the possibilities are endless and can be customized to your liking.
