Artist Sarah Jane Lapp was born in Minnesota, earned her B.A. in playwriting at Brown University and her M.F.A. at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She also was a Fulbright Scholar at Fakulta Academie Muzickych Umeni (FAMU) Prague.
