Treasures of the RISD Museum: Rhode Island School of Design Museum Presents “Snapshots”
An armchair tour led by RISD Museum Docents will offer a visual presentation of some of the highlights of the museum’s collection, followed by a time for questions and discussion. Whether you have been an art connoisseur for years or you just like to look at works of art, this program is for you. The selection chosen from the museum’s collection includes sculpture, paintings, textiles, and features works from the 18th-21st centuries.
This free presentation has been shown widely since 2015 at various locations, including Brookdale, Atria, Harbor Hill, Da Vinci House, North Kingstown Senior Center, Tamarisk and many more. Recently, the program has been shown on Zoom to docents at the Toronto Museum, the Seattle Museum and the McMillan Museum in Boston.
If you would like to share your own creative works, please contact Charlann Walker, RISD Museum Docent, 401-463-8796.
