Scale Model of AAPI Museum Concept Unveiled at Rochambeau Library in Providence

AAPI Exhibit_CLPVD Rochambeau

The Cultural Society for Entrepreneurship, Bilingualism, Resources and Inspirations (CSEBRI), part of the Cultural Society, is proud to unveil a traveling exhibit that imagines what a future Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) History Museum & Culture Center would look like. Visitors can view the exhibit in the café area on the ground floor of Rochambeau Library, 708 Hope Street, Providence, until February 16, during business hours.

The centerpiece of the display is an imaginative, scale-model floor plan depicting patrons browsing featured exhibits at a future, bricks-and-mortar museum. Visitors can learn more from literature and guidebooks available in several languages, as well as conceptual drawings and also may scan QR codes with their phones to obtain more information about the plans.

Created with the four traditional learning styles in mind – visual, kinesthetic, auditory, and classic learning through reading and writing – CSEBRI hopes that the open, inviting approach to the exhibit will spark interest in AAPI history and appeal to a wider audience.

For additional information on the exhibit, visit the aapihistorymuseum.org website.
