Backyard Composting Mentorship Workshop

Are you interested in composting? Join Stewart Martin of Providence Gardenworks for an informational session to the free backyard composting mentorship program.
The City of Providence’s Sustainability Department and the United States Department of Agriculture recently awarded a Backyard Composting Mentorship Grant, aimed at increasing food scrap diversion in the city and in the process producing a powerful soil enhancer for vegetables and plants; compost!
Each participant that signs on to the Backyard Composting Mentorship program will receive the following for free:
-installation of a heavy duty animal-proof composter customized for each home
-an essential aerator tool for the composter
-a stainless steel dishwasher safe food scrap pail with carbon filters
-starter brown material/30 gallons of leaves
-ongoing training and technical support on all aspects of home composting
