KMEC - Business Start Up Program

INSPIRE is the first step to business ownership. This four session idea stage business program is designed for those who aspire to become an innovator,  entrepreneur or business owner, but are unsure where to begin.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Aspiring business owners who:

  • Have a dream to own your business
  • Are new to entrepreneurship
  • Have a business idea or many business ideas
  • Want to understand what it takes to operate a successful business
  • Seek to start your business venture off on the right foot.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Participants will learn the main characteristics of a successful business owner and how to be creative and innovative in a business environment. Through instruction, assessment and self-evaluation process, aspiring business owners and entrepreneurs will learn to make better decisions, overcome obstacles, and visualize opportunities. The series will end with a brainstorming workshop to generate as many solutions as possible to specific problems that can turn an idea into a good and profitable business.
