Please join us for a book (or podcast!) discussion as we delve into the captivating history of Providence, Rhode Island’s notorious mob scene, intricately woven with the remarkable life and career of Mayor Buddy Cianci. Explore the dark underbelly of Providence’s past, where corruption, power struggles, and organized crime thrived, leaving an indelible mark on the city’s identity, and uncover the secrets and scandals that gripped Providence during Cianci’s reign, and witness how the enigmatic mayor navigated the treacherous waters of politics and crime.
To participate, simply choose your own adventure by reading one of two books (Politics and Pasta by Buddy Cianci or the Prince of Providence by Mike Stanton) or listening to the first season of the podcast Crimetown, and then join us virtually on Tuesday, July 25th at 6pm!
