Summer Reading Kick Off Celebration: Fire and Ice Show!

June 25 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Knight Memorial Library – Outside 1

Green and White Playful Scientist Page Border (1500 x 1000 px) (1)

Let’s set this year’s summer reading ablaze!

A Mad Scientist from Mad Science of Southern MA and RI will be at the library to perform a fiery and icy show!

Here is a quick blurb from their website:

“This spectacular show thrills audiences with impressive science experiments. The event includes foggy dry ice storms and demonstrates how giant beach balls can float in the air. Students are amazed by sizzling, shivering scissors and special bubbly showers!”

This show will be outside on the lawn, weather permitting. If not, we will be in the auditorium. Children, of all ages, and their families are welcome. Registration is encouraged, but not required.

Contact ckuy@clpvd.org to register or for more info!

The statewide Rhode Island Summer Reading Program is supported by the RI Office of Library and Information Services, with funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
