Foundation of science

Register here for a free 6-week SFF writing class for adult learners taught by Marissa Gallerani in person at Mount Pleasant Library.

From dungeons and dragons to a galaxy far, far away, science fiction and fantasy stories have always inspired us and captured our attention. In this 6-week course for adult learners, we will review what makes science fiction and fantasy so captivating. Through examination of classic and modern texts and through our own generative prompts, we will create and polish our own speculative stories. Students will have a chance to share and workshop their own work, as well as plenty of time to generate new work.

Classes are every Wednesday night, 6pm-7:30pm, April 5th through May 10th in person at Mt. Pleasant Library.  Please sign up only if you plan on attending all six classes. Register through Eventbrite to sign up for the course.
