WE NEED YOU!
Community Libraries of Providence is creating our new strategic plan that will guide us for the next 5 years.
Whether you currently use the library or not, we would love to hear from you!
We'd so appreciate a few minutes of you time to complete this survey😍
When was the last time you were faced with a chance to shift your climate loyalties, even a small one?
What did you do?
What was the cost of your choice?
What could you have done? What will you do next time?
Climate action is broader than you might think–and you’re more capable of it than you may imagine. We’ll use discussion, reflection, and motion to share what we’re already doing with others in response to climate change, and locate the strength and potential for further climate action within our neighborhoods and relationships.
We’ll also talk about concrete, practical ways to support and complement each other’s climate efforts–and work around obstacles to climate action–through trade-offs, taking turns, and community care.
This workshop will be led by Kate Schapira, local activist and author of Lessons from the Climate Anxiety Booth: How to Live with Care and Purpose in an Endangered World, which will be out in April.
