Maker Workshop for Adults: Design an Acrylic Charm for the Laser Cutter

Design your own wall decoration, window hanging, or keychain! We will show you how to prepare a design file using the software Inkscape, which will be used to cut and etch your design out of a flat sheet of acrylic material. Before you arrive, begin to think about: what shape you would want for your charm, what color it would be, and whether there would be any cutouts or etched marks (including words) on the surface. We will cut out your design with the laser cutter at a different location so you can pick up your finished project the following week. Register at makers@clpvd.org
