Reopening Party!

You’re invited to an awesome reopening party with special fiery guest Jay Moran and performances of the Magic Car Wash by Portal Rental! There will be food, music, dancing, and more! Come hang out with us, dance, be merry, and check out our new look inside the library!
Magic Car Wash will kick off the afternoon at 4pm with ongoing performances until 5:30pm. The evening will end with an amazing fire dance performance from 6pm-7pm by the talented Jay Moran.
Jay Moran is internationally regarded as a world class Indian Clubs instructor and performance artist. Teaching students from all over the world the art of club swinging. Jay’s performance style is welcoming and playful, fun for all ages, truly a must see. Audience members often express feeling peaceful, relaxed, uplifted, and inspired.
Providence art band Portal Rental welcomes viewers of all ages to THE MAGIC CAR WASH, a portal inside the back of a box truck. Pass through the automatic car wash curtain, take a seat, and lose yourself in a foam of short experimental films featuring Portal Rental’s energetic music, live-action footage, stop-motion animation, and puppetry. portalrental.com
