Welcome to The Great Traveling Owl Prowl, an exciting new program for kids and families from Wild Lives and the Community Libraries of Providence (CLPVD). Every Wednesday in June from 5-6:00 pm meet at Roger Williams Park Natural History Museum parking lot. This program encourages Providence residents to explore and learn more about nearby nature spots. It’s an intergenerational program, so everyone is welcome!
Staff from Wild Lives and CLPVD will run an Owl Prowl series in green spaces that are close to neighborhood libraries and also help children create an exhibit about their nature discoveries in each hosting library.
The Great Traveling Owl Prowl project is made possible in part by a grant from the RI Office of Library & Information Services using funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, supplemented by a generous gift from a private donor.
