Works in Progress: Four-Week Writing Course

September 3 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Mt. Pleasant Library

writing class

In this 4-week course for adults, writers of all levels are encouraged to bring their written work for active workshopping with the group.

Writing can be very solitary and sometimes all a project needs are some fresh eyes and a little accountability! In this 4-week course, writers of all levels are encouraged to bring short stories, in-progress projects, and/or complete manuscripts for active workshopping with a group. Each week will focus on aspects of outlining, plotting, technique, and editing. Feedback from Beta Readers can be a wonderful resource to elevate and improve your work, so please join us in giving and receiving critique. Reading aloud and active participation will be a major focus of the workshop. All skill levels and genres are welcome.

Classes are every Tuesday night, September 3rd through September 24th, 6pm-7:30pm at Mt. Pleasant Library. Register through Eventbrite to sign up for the course. Please sign up only if you plan on attending all four classes.
