Washington Park Library – Main Area 1

Writing is often very solitary and sometimes all a project needs are some fresh eyes and a little accountability! In this 4-week course, writers of all levels are encouraged to bring short stories, in-progress projects, and/or complete manuscripts for active workshopping with a group. Each week will focus on aspects of outlining, plotting, technique, and editing. Reading aloud and active participation–both giving and receiving critique– will be a major focus of the workshop.

Victoria Dalpe is an artist and writer based in Providence, RI. Her short fiction has appeared in over thirty anthologies and her first novel, Parasite Life will be re-released in 2023 through Nightscape Press. Her short story collection, Les Femmes Grotesques, will be released in October 2022 by Clash Books. She is a member of the HWA and the New England Horror Writers. amazon.com/author/victoriadalpe
