Beer Naming Contest!
We are partnering with The Guild Brewing Co. for their Pints with Purpose Program from November 13-27. As a kick-off we get to name our own beer, available for sale throughout the program. We'll also be having some FUN events at the Guild in Pawtucket. All proceeds go to CLPVD.

Xavion & Sareyus: an Author Talk with Isaiah Sleeping Turtle Johnson Bey

An excerpt from the newly published Xavion & Sareyus reads… “During the Earth’s third incarnation, eight of the nine gods craft a warrior. He is Xavion, and at thirty years old, he is in the midst of warring empires in the continent of Nodin. Being mixed of all human ethnicities, Xavion is often discriminated against. As a champion representing five rival minorities, Xavion is hell-bent to purge imperialism from the north.”
Author, Isaiah Sleeping Turtle Johnson Bey, works and performs music with Native American flutes and drums locally, and is an avid researcher of history. Musical performances with the psychedelic flute and informational workshops about the Medicine Wheel and Dispelling the Myths & Inaccuracies of the History & Culture of the Indigenous American People Set Forth from Over 400 Years Ago are among available programs.
