Creative Play is an open play for toddlers and their caregivers. Each week we get out a fun toy or plaything for collaborative play. Depending on the day/week you might see the blocks, sensory table, bug measuring, wind tunnel, rigamajig or more! No registration is necessary.
Join our volunteer martial arts instructor to learn some defensive moves! (Participants typically remove their shoes, so please wear comfortable socks.)
Bring a plant you no longer want and leave with a new one! Don't have a plant to swap? Give a suggested $1 donation to the library and take home a new plant. Plants can be dropped off at the library in advance of the event, beginning Monday, June 3rd. Rain or shine event!

This storytime features stories, songs, and fingerplay for children and their parents/caregivers! Open playtime will occur after storytime! This six—week session will run on Mondays from May 13th—June 24th, not including Monday holidays.

Attention young makers! Come learn about using different tools for creative projects, including vinyl cutting, sewing, 3D design, laser cutting, coding robots, and more. (recommended for ages 10+)
Kids! Let your ideas fly with artist Cathren Housley as we create vibrant art pieces to soar around the library! This program is open to kids of all ages. We will be painting with acrylic paint. This youth workshop series is made possible by the RI State Council on the Arts.
