Community Libraries of Providence and Providence College cordially invite you to save the date for the 2023 Providence Latino Book & Arts Fair. Feria del libro y las artes de Providence 2023 to be held on November 4th, 10am-2:30pm at Providence College, Moore Hall. The bilingual Fair will feature Latino, Latina and Latinx artists, performers and writers from our local communities and beyond. 

Participating creative figures include Victor Piñeiro, author of Time Villains, Int’l Latino Book Awards Gold Medal Winner and A Kirkus Best Middle Grade Book 2021; Juana Martinez-Neal, children’s author of Zonia’s Rain Forest & Alma and How She Got Her Name; artists Shey ‘Rí Acu’ Rivera Ríos and Jesús de la Torre, and poets Sussy Santana and Maggie Picot. Exhibitions by painters Carolina Briones and Nilton Cárdenas and photographer Alex Horsntein, creator of the Bibliodiversity program, will be on display throughout the day along with arts and crafts stations and free book giveaways for children at the event opening. 

The Providence Latino Book & Arts Fair. Feria del libro y las artes de Providence 2023 is presented by the Community Libraries of Providence and Providence College, with event partners Pawtucket Public Library and Rhode Island Latino Book Award.
