At CLPVD, our Adult Programs aim to bridge gaps and enrich the lives of our community members, and we don't mean just with books and book clubs (though we have those, too!). Life is difficult to get through alone, so we provide free and responsive programming to help with any number of challenges, whether we're hosting meetings with local elected officials or signing you up for Citizenship, GED, Spanish or ESOL classes. We also love to bring in local experts to assist with home heating costs or taxes, provide healthcare screenings, vaccinations, or application renewals, or guide and support you as you start your own business. Furthermore, we believe that kids shouldn't be the only ones having fun, which is why we love to give everyone a chance to explore new interests and hobbies, ranging from creative writing, improv, urban gardening and beekeeping, sewing, knitting, and other fiber arts, learning a language, trying a new form of exercise, or playing games with peers. Please come by any of our locations to be a part of something cool!
