The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL/ESL) program offers the opportunity to learn English to students from foreign countries.
ESOL Summer Term
Fall, Winter, Spring
In Person classes are twice a week for 10 weeks for Beginner Level during Fall, Winter and Spring.
Morning classes are 9:30 -11:00 am: Tuesday and Thursday at Olneyville Library
Evening classes are from 5:30 to 7:00 pm:
Monday & Wednesday at Mount Pleasant Library
Tuesday & Thursday at South Providence Library
Virtual Class Intermediate Level
Monday 10:00 -11:30 am
Register now – class size is limited and fills quickly! You must register and take a test to be enrolled in the class.

Carolina Briones
Carolina Briones is our Latino Programs Manager. Carolina supports our adult education programming by creating programs that celebrate our Latina/o community.
Conducts educational and cultural programs and events for the Latino community, such as: Spanish reading club, computer classes, citizenship preparation, book fair, arts and crafts book fair, arts and crafts workshops, the Abuelitos Club, the annual Dia de los the annual Dia de los Niños celebration, the bilingual writing contest for children ages 8 to 12 years old, and the bilingual writing contest for children ages 8 to 12. Among other programs.

Zoila Bernal
Zoila Bernal, from Peru, loves serving the community through her work at the CLPVD, as the Spanish Language Outreach & Support Specialist she brought her passion and enthusiastic personality to promote Spanish language and bilingual library programs and services bringing people and families together for meaningful and enjoyable activities to improve the quality of life of the participants and their neighborhoods.
Zoila Bernal supports our Adult Education Programs and Latino Programs. Zoila helps us promote new and interesting programs, reach out to community members, and make sure every program is a welcoming and fun experience.
