Local author Robert Geake will talk about a chapter from his latest book Death in Early New England: Rites, Rituals and Remembrance, (2023)Â which focuses on the tall tales and legends printed in early New England newspapers, their popularity, and those true, published accounts of early unexplained phenomena.
In this two-part workshop (October 18 and 25), participants will build their own paper mache masks.
